Functional Purpose: Commonly utilized in laboratory environments for reconstitution of select peptides (e.g., AOD-9604) where aqueous-only diluents may result in structural aggregation or gel formation.
Important Technical Note: This solvent system is optimized for specific applications. When used with peptides not compatible with glycerin or mild acidic environments, physical changes such as increased viscosity or gel formation may occur.
Solution Characteristics: Clear, colorless aqueous solution with mild acetic odor. Slight viscosity due to glycerin content.
Preservative System: Benzyl alcohol 0.9% (bacteriostatic concentration range).
